Touch in Psychotherapy: Essential Skills Training

Touch in Psychotherapy: Essential Skills Training

Touch in Psychotherapy Essential Skills Training

This five-day training is designed to give licensed psychotherapists, associates, and trainees a practical understanding of the use of touch in psychotherapy, in a way that is clear, accessible and directly applicable to a psychotherapeutic practice.

The training is highly experiential, focusing on the clinical application of touch, movement, and verbal interventions to access, process, and transform psycho-somatic material. The training is limited to six participants in order to ensure personal attention to the learning process.

Due to the nature of this training (small cohorts), I schedule it upon request.  Once a group of six students come together, dates will be set. Students are encouraged to reach out to friends that they would want to study and trade sessions with. The class formate is lecture, demo, three practice sessions, Q&A.
